Field Service Department - IT Specialist

Entry level IT Specialist who will install and maintain local and wide area computer network equipment, both on site and remotely; install and maintain remote connectivity technology; provide on-site and remote hardware and software technical support for field technicians and customers; maintain records and prepare documents, such as site surveys; and perform related tasks as assigned by management.

The candidate will be a recent graduate with a degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems and/or Computer Science with excellent computer networking knowledge, a working familiarity with Windows XP and Windows Small Business Server 2003, and at least a basic understanding of electronics and schematics. Knowledge of SQL is a plus. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.

Software Development Department - Staff Application Developer

Staff Application Developer - develop, maintain and support the Company's existing Windows-based applications; design and develop new applications; perform QA testing; provide software support for field technicians and customers; maintain records and prepare documents; and perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Required:

  • 1-2 years of experience developing Windows applications using C# within the .NET framework using OOP
  • strong background in MS SQL Server 2000, including database creation, stored procedures, user defined functions and administration
  • working familiarity with Windows XP and Windows Small Business Server 2003
  • ability to meet firm deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • demonstrate a positive attitude, dependability and maturity

Knowledge of XML, TCP/IP and Crystal Reports is desirable. Preferably, the candidate will have a degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems and/or Computer Science.
